Hello and a warm welcome to Treloweth Community Primary School!
At Treloweth we believe that every child deserves to have a happy and fulfilling primary education. We have a very positive and purposeful environment and endeavour to make learning exciting and engaging for all of our pupils through a rich and varied curriculum. We want everyone to experience learning opportunities that are interesting and varied and challenge pupils to do their personal best.
Our school values 'Dream, Believe, Achieve' are part of every aspect of school life. All staff are committed to ensuring that we keep up to date with the very best ideas in teaching and learning and have high expectations to achieve great things. We are a school that aims to develop and build character, grit and resilience to develop well-rounded children that are successful and prepared for life in modern Britain.
It is our wish to build close working relationships with parents and we hope that you will support your child's learning by attending parents evenings, sharing books with your child and talking to them about what they do in school. We would love you to attend our special events and look forward to welcoming you soon.
I encourage you to browse around our website, you will find lots of information about all aspects of life at Treloweth and if you wish to find out more or have an issue you would like to discuss, please don't hesitate to make contact or come in and see us.

Applying for a Reception Class Place for September 2016
As a school we have been asked to stress the importance of naming more than one preference, it won’t give you less chance of securing a place at your preferred school. Listing more than one preference means that, in the event that the preferred school is oversubscribed, it reduces the chance of being allocated an unnamed school. Further delays and disappointments can occur when a family is allocated the ‘nearest school with room’ but they then wish to state a preference for a different school, which may already be full but could have been allocated had it been named as a preference.
